“The game”: Video Game that tells the Balkan Route

“The Game – The Balkan Route” is a video game, developed by dialobot and ICS, to make known the journey of migrants from Bosnia to Europe.

The game, which can be downloaded for free, is an interactive narrative that tells the journey of Arul: an Afghan boy who from Bihac must reach Trieste to ask for asylum. Through characters, places, encounters and choices, the player will be able to reach Germany and discover one of the eight endings of the story. The game offers two levels of play: a fast version that takes about 45 minutes and a realistic version that takes about an hour and a half.

The game is designed for a single player but can also be played collectively in the classroom.
